The semantic web is in the making, and technologies corresponding to the mobile platform are getting smarter and smarter. What’s more interesting is the two are having a courtship at this moment, and will soon tie the knot.
The semantic web is like CSS3 of searching. It acknowledges that a searcher might access a search engine from a Smart device. Just as CSS3 restores a site’s appearance irrespective of what devices are being used to access it, the semantic web renders a unique result irrespective of device type and search query.
Searching has changed a lot lately. Voice searching has been seeing its popularity going up, and experts are of the opinion that it’ll soon replace searching by typing on the keyboard.
